The underlying goal of the Code is to help automotive recyclers understand his/her legal requirements as it applies to their operations as well as integrate best environmental practices that will help improve efficiency and profitability.

An Audit to CAREC is available to ARC Members at a cost of $405 plus applicable taxes and travel costs. Non-Members may also be audited for $605 plus applicable taxes and travel costs
